The Zimmermans left their estate to the Kansas Masonic Foundation with instructions that the interest earned from that trust would be utilized to support the future of the Kansas Masonic Cancer Research Institute. Today that trust earns in excess of $100,000 per year that goes to benefit a very worthy charitable endeavor.

“One of the greatest satisfactions derived from my affiliation with the Kansas Masonic Foundation is the opportunity to see the fulfillment of long-range planning for individuals like myself,” Lawrence said. Alvina also commented after Lawrence’s passing, “I cannot fully express the feeling of security and peace I have had with the Foundation’s expert handling of my husband’s trust fund.”
